How nano.gift works: the gift, the pool, your link
The pool. All gifts are paid from a single public pool funded by Nano holders. The address and live balance are on the pool page. No fees, no cut.
The gift. Opening a link credits the current gift amount to your session, which lives only in your browser. Real Nano moves on-chain once, when you withdraw to your own address. Unclaimed balances return to the pool after 30 days.
Halving. The first 1 000 gifts are 0.5 Ӿ. Each time the number of opened gifts doubles, the gift halves. Early people get more; the total budget stays predictable.
Your link. Everyone gets one permanent gift link. Whoever opens it receives the current gift from the pool, and your card shows how many people you have reached and which coins they hold. You are giving away pool money, not your own — being generous costs you nothing.
Withdrawing. Paste a Nano address and the pool sends your balance. We recommend Natrium (iOS/Android). The transfer time you see is measured from broadcast to confirmation on the network.
Fair use. One gift per person, two per network per day. Opening your own link does not work. We never ask for a seed phrase or wallet connection.
